The DJINN project has come to a close. We say goodbye to all our colleagues who were part of it, as well as to everyone who followed our progress over the 42 months of the DJINN project. Farewell and stay well.

The Commission agreed on a prolongation of the DJINN project by 6 months. Hence, the DJINN project will end by 30 November 2023. The final meeting will go in conjunction with the 2nd DJINN conference – to be announced soon.

The first progress meeting attracted 40 colleagues (based on 13 beneficiaries). It was very successful – with online partner-per-partner presentations.

The European Aviation Noise Research Network held a Full Network Meeting, sponsored by ANIMA, following the Common Research Roadmap for Aviation Noise Reduction in Europe. Including DJINN, eight projects have been given an overview of the proposed work.

The kick-off meeting took place in two parts, a common meeting together with the two cluster projects INVENTOR and ENODISE with 88(!) participants on June 22 and the DJINN consortium kick-off meeting on 23 June with 35 participants – a real success.
